There will be two fireworks events in Western Tokyo Tama area, in Hachioji and in Tachikawa even though there will be one of the most popular fireworks event in the central Tokyo at Sumida river.

Finally the yellow and red leaves along Tamagawajosui aqueduct have been fallen from the tree in the beginning of January.

Because of the warm weather for this season, this nature action was much later than the average period.

Do you know this hot spot ?

This is Tachikawa Velodrome of Keirin race place located in Tokyo Tachikawa city.

There are only two Velodromes in Western Tokyo Tama area, Chofu and Tachikawa.

As one of the Olympic games, Keirin is more than more popular and you would be able to see the exciting moment.

Entrance fee is just only 50 yen and you would have a fantastic moment by the hot races.

Since the games are not held everyday, please get more information when you would be around Tachikawa area. 

In the afternoon, Tamagawajosui aqueduct is always streaming peacefully.

Really fantastic great moment with the waterway, reflection by sunlight, and Yellow Leaves and it looks like a Golden waterway.

Seems to be a fortune spot and also your heart would be retreated at this healing place.

Winter Vista Illumination event at Showakinen Park in Tokyo Tachikawa city is now on season !

This winter event is held until 27th December 2015 and there would be fireworks on 24th and 25th only.

Lalaport Tachikawa Tachihi shopping mall will be opened finally !

This mall is one of the largest shopping malls in Western Tokyo Tama area and the mall is opened on the 8th & 9th December as Pre-openning.

The Grand open will be on the 10th December and here will be one of the top attractions in Tachikawa city.

Tachikawa will be more comfortable for your visit and stay !

Now is the best time to see the sunset with Mt. Fuji in Western Tokyo Tama area !

When the sun is getting down just behind Mt. Fuji, we call "Diamond Fuji" and this is really fantastic !

Mt. Takao, Higashikurume station, etc are the famous spot for "Diamond Fuji".

Tachikawa Yataimura Paradise is a place of restaurants and bars located near Tachikawa station in Tokyo Tachikawa city.

One of the most fantastic winter events in Western Tokyo Tama area is coming soon !

Winter Vista Illumination 2015 festival event will be held from 5th until the 27th December 2015 at Showakinen Park in Tokyo Tachikawa city.

The illuminations are available from 5pm to 9pm during this event and you would be able to discover the new world with the entrance fee of 410 yen only (for adult) !

Even though you stay at Central Tokyo area, it's a easy access to Tachikawa station by JR Chuo line, so don't miss it !

LaLaport Tachikawa Tachihi shopping mall will be opened on the 10th December 2015 in Tokyo Tachikawa city.

At this mall, 250 stores will accommodate your visit and shopping needs as one of the largest shopping mall in Western Tokyo Tama area.

Located near Tachikawa station shopping stores, Showakinen Park, IKEA furniture store and this area will be more popular and attractive for the visitors.

If it's hard to book and stay at hotels or accommodations in the central Tokyo area, please try to find and book hotels or accommodations around Tachikawa area.

都心まで行かなくても多摩地域できれいなイルミネーションを見ることができます。

貝殻坂橋は根川緑道の下流地点に位置している小さな端です。

東京都立川市と国立市の市境にある貝殻坂が名前の由来となっております。

Monorail in Tama ? Yes, it is ! Tama Monorail is operated between Tama center station in Tama city and Kamikitadai station in Higashiyamato city now. Expected to extend to from Kamikitadai to Hakonegasaki station in Mizuho town. Tama Monorail accommodate you to nice access between North and South in Tama area via Tachikawa station for Sanrio Puroland, Tama Zoological park, Showakinen park, Tamagawajosui river, etc as tourist spots. Also you would be able to see the view of Tama area when you take this monorail. 

多摩地域にもモノレールがありますね。名前はそのまま！？多摩モノレールです。現在は多摩センターと上北台間を運行しております。上北台から瑞穂町箱根ヶ崎までの延伸計画は進んでいるようですが、多摩センターからの延伸はどうなるのでしょうか・・・、八王子か町田か・・・。気になるところです。

サンリオピューロランド、多摩動物公園、立川、昭和記念公園、玉川上水等の観光地を直接結んでいるので、意外と便利かも！モノレールからは多摩の景色も見ることができるでしょう。
