It was snowing in Western Tokyo Tama area as well as the central Tokyo on the 18th January 2016 so you would be able to see snows around this area now.

At Tamagawajosui Aqueduct, there are snows on the riverside however the water is streaming as usual and we feel the great peaceful moment with the nature here.

Nice strolling spot and please be careful with your foot on the road with ice and snow.

Plum flowers have already started blooming !

Found this plum tree in Tokyo Fuchu city and you would be able to see these kind of flowers in Tokyo and Western Tokyo Tama area until the beginning of March.

At Tamaohashi Bridge of Tama River between Akishima and Hachioji city, it is one of the nice sunrise spots in Western Tokyo Tama area and you would be able to get your fortune with this kind of beautiful sunrises during the new year period.

Finally the yellow and red leaves along Tamagawajosui aqueduct have been fallen from the tree in the beginning of January.

Because of the warm weather for this season, this nature action was much later than the average period.

For this year, Red Leaves and Yellow Leaves season is longer comparing with the past few years because it was much warmer than the average temperature.

The best period of Red Leaves & Yellow Leaves in Tokyo might be in December for the future and you would be able to discover the beautiful moment with lots of nature...

In the afternoon, Tamagawajosui aqueduct is always streaming peacefully.

Here is the headtrail point of Mt. Takao in Tokyo Hachioji city.

From this point, it takes about 1 hour to the upper station of Chair Lift and Cable Car and it takes about two hours to the top of the mountain.

If you have enough time for your visit Mt. Takao, let's enjoy the trecking from the headtrail under lots of nature !

Musashisai park is located in the north part of Tokyo Fuchu city and it is the border place with Kokubunji city.

The park is located along the Kokubunji Cliff, so you would be able to see the up-down at the park.

It is not so famous park however you would be able to discover your favorites as hidden spot !

Access from Nishi-Kokubunji station of JR Chuo Line.

University street in Tokyo Kunitachi city is the main street of Kunitachi city, it's just straight down from Kunitachi station of JR Chuo line to the south.

This street is famous for Cherry blossoms in Spring, however it's a nice place for Ginkgo trees and Red leaves trees near Hitotsubashi University specially in Autumn & Winter season as well.

Just next from/to Tachikawa area so please visit Kunitachi as well if you visit Tachikawa area !

You can still enjoy Red Leaves in Western Tokyo Tama area !

At Kurogane park in Tokyo Kokubunji city, there is a nice Red leaves tree and it would be a really healing spot!

It is not a famous place for Red Leaves such as Kyoto, however you would be able to discover your favorite place in Western Tokyo Tama area as well !

Sayamaike Park is located at Tokyo Mizuho town, access by 15 minutes walk from Hakonegasaki station of JR Hachiko line.

This spot is known as the water sources of Zanbori River and the park has three different ponds, for fishing, for natural bird watching, and for Japanese garden watching.

Loved by local people and let's enjoy your visit around Tokyo Mizuho area !

狭山池公園は、東京都瑞穂町にある親水公園です。

Junsai Pond is located at Mizuho View Park in Tokyo Mizuho town by 15 minutes walk from Hakonegasaki station of JR Hachiko line.

As you may see these pictures, it is a really nice healing spot with the nature during Red Leaves season specially.

It's not famous spot however it's loved by local people and it's a recommended place so please discover this spot and feature it with your nice images if you are interested in !

Sayama Lake Park is known as the headwaters of Zanbori River at Tokyo Mizuho town.

Access from Hakonegasaki station of JR Hachiko line with 15 minutes walk.

Zanbori River is a small river streaming to Tama river through Aeon Mall Musashimurayama, Tamagawajosui aqueduct, Showakinen Park, etc.

If you have enough time, it would be nice for walking or cycling along the river from/to this headwaters.

多摩川水系の残堀川は、東京都瑞穂町の狭山池を源とし、武蔵村山市、昭島市、立川市を通って多摩川に合流する約１５キロの小さな川です。

その源泉地には「残堀川源流狭山池」の看板も立っております。

皆様の瑞穂町での散策コースには、是非入れていただきたいスポットです。

If you have already visited Mt. Takao Tokyo Hachioji, you have passed this suspention bridge trail and have taken pictures.

It is one of the most famous attractions at Mt. Takao and many tourists pass this bridge on No. 4 trail.

There is Sengen Shrine on the top of the mountain and it's a kind of hidden powerspot.

Also there is a one of the top 100 spots for Mt. Fuji view and it's a nice walking place for the healing under the nature.

小平市、東久留米市のおすすめ散策コースです。

Nozuta Park is one of the largest municipal parks in Tokyo. 

This park is managed by Machida city and it's loved by local people.

Nice spot for walking, picnic, sports, etc, so if you stay at hotel in Tokyo Machida area, let's try to visit and have a nice time there !

町田市立野津田公園は、市立公園としては都内でも有数の大きな公園です。

町田ゼルビアのホームスタジアムでもある陸上競技場や、ピクニック広場、散策路など、広大な敷地内には、さまざまな施設が備わっており、市民憩いの場として親しまれております。 

This red brick under red pine trees is located near Higashiyamato-shi station of Seibu Haijima line.

With a lot of nature, we would recommend this healing spot along Tamagawajosui aqueduct and Nobidomeyosui waterway for walking around and refresh your mind !

こちらの赤レンガの遊歩道と赤松並木は、西武拝島線東大和市駅からすぐのところに位置しております。

ここは野火止用水の上に整備されており、昔の野火止用水の景観と風情を今に伝える自然に満ちた散策路となっております。

玉川上水沿いや野火止用水沿いは、おすすめの散策コースですので、散策時には心が癒されることでしょう。

Just in front of the station, there is a bamboo forest to reserve the nature.

Located at Komae station of Odakyu line, 20 min from Shinjuku staion only, and you would be able to find this nature healing spot.

There is a Dragon Faucet nearby as well and it would be a nice walking place in Tokyo Komae city.

小田急線狛江駅前には、都内の駅前としては珍しい竹林を見ることができます。

こちらは、狛江弁財天池特別緑地保全地区として自然の癒しを提供する場所として保存されております。

狛江散策時には是非通ってほしい場所です。

Negawa river is at Tachikawa park and here is a nice spot during Sakura season in Spring.

Sengenyama mountain is a small mountain by 80m height located in Tokyo Fuchu city.

There is a view point for Mt. Fuji at Sengenyama Park which is one of the top 100 Mt. Fuji view spots in Kanto Region.

Of course it will depend on the weather conditions, we hope that you would be able to see the mountain as your great memory of visiting Japan.

It was around 10 days later than the average of the first snowing day of the season at Mt. Fuji.

Here is Momijidai base at Mt. Takao Tokyo Hachioji which is located near the top of this mountain by 10 minutes walk.

Comparing with the top, there are less tourists and it is a nice spot for have a break or have a lunch at this point.

Also it's a nice place for Mt. Fuji view if the weather is fine and we hope that you would be able to see Mt. Fuji when you visit here ! 

Do you know this kind of machine ? This is a vending machine of local farm produces and you would be able to find near farm fields in Western Tokyo Tama area.

Local fresh seasonal vegetables are available with good price (just starting from 100 yen) and why not you could have a chance to get it for you or your friends in Japan !

At Noyamakita-Rokudoyama Park in Tokyo Musashimurama city & Mizuho town, there is a border point among three communities of Musashimurayama, Mizuho in Tokyo & Tokorozawa in Saitama.

This border point is called "Gohandate" in Japanese and it was an important point among communities in Edo era period around 17th century.

Now there is a hiking course arranged at Noyamakita-Rokudoyama Park and you would be able to discover the border of Tokyo and Saitama with lots of nature.

都立野山北・六道山公園内には、御判立と呼ばれる場所があります。

こちらは、東京都武蔵村山市、瑞穂町と埼玉県所沢市の３つの市町境の場所でもあり、この画像は武蔵村山市側から撮った画像です。

左が瑞穂町側、右が所沢市側となり、緑のフェンスを越えて歩いていくこともできます。

自然に満ちた公園での散策やハイキングにもおすすめの場所です。

Benzaiten Pond is located at Senryuji Temple just near Komae station of Odakyu Odawara line.

Inokashira Park is famous for Spring Sakura spot in Western Tokyo Tama area however it's also nice place as Autumn Red Leaves around Novemver every year.
